I had always been hesitant about using credit cards. I know that I am just being old fashioned, always suspicious of anything new, but that’s just the way I am. Understandably I can be such because although I am only 55 years old but I had been raised by a very old school kind of a father and his ways naturally rubbed on me, or at least some of it. I may not have a credit card but I do have a debit card and this is what I had been using ever since. And I have rubbed some of these ways to my wife too who if I can remember had been one of these people who always went excessive shopping and using credit cards to pay for what she bought. Now she still goes shopping, but she uses debit cards. And even though I don’t use credit cards, but I keep in constant alert for Credit Cards News. And it was in one of the articles about debit cards that I came to realize that there may be advantages to using debit cards but using it too does have a big negative attached to it.
Carrying my debit card around and using it to pay for everything is maybe very convenient but it makes me a good target for fraud or robbery. I can lose my card and anyone can just take everything from my bank since I am practically bringing along with me my entire bank account to everywhere I go. And with this realization in mind, I went online first with the purpose of just checking what are available for me.
